Woah, the holidays sure snuck up fast this year, didn’t they? How is your December going so far?

Life has been crazy (crazy good) with my little man coming into this world. I’m so excited for him to experience his first holiday season, although I doubt he will remember it. Even still, I want to make it so special! I can’t wait to put up the tree (I think that will happen this weekend) and decorate the house. And of course, one of my favorite parts of December is making Christmas cookies and filling the house with all sorts of sweet smells.

I can’t say I’ve had much time for getting into the holiday groove yet, but before he blessed us with his arrival I started collaborating on a fun holiday pattern project with the lovely and oh so ridiculously awesome Sara Does. She had the brilliant idea to work together on creating a very merry gift tag and wrap set. We wanted to make it inspired by nature and rustic prettiness, so I went about coming up with some painterly pattern designs that were hand drawn and then painted in Photoshop.  Sara has four different wrapping paper selections in her shop that are paired up with her lovely hand block printed gift tags.

Plus, I’ve got the same holiday designs and a few more available printed on fabric in my Spoonflower shop! You could make all sorts of fun holiday projects, like a cute knit scarf maybe?
