Oregano Oil doesn’t mess around!
If you need a power-house of a plant oil to fix what may be ailing you, then you may want to try Oregano Oil (Origanum vulgare).
To start, here are a few things this plant oil tackles:
- Bacterial Infections
- Fungal Infections
- Viral Infections
- Parasites
- Inflammation
- Free Radicals
- Cell Death
- Colds, Flu, Bronchitis
- Intestinal Problems
- Yeast Infections
Here are a few ways to use Oregano Oil:
- For bacterial and fungal infections, dilute 1 drop of oil in 8 ounces of water or juice and take internally twice a day.
- Put 2-3 drops of oil in an empty vegetable capsules and take internally once or twice a day when needed for immune support.
- Dilute with fractioned coconut oil (1:3 ratio) and apply topically to affected area.
Oregano oil is certified by the FDA as GRAS (meaning you can take it internally); however, it is a very strong oil, so dilution in a carrier oil is recommended, especially for ingestion.
Interested in making your own anti-inflammation salve? Here’s a great recipe from Live In Art. Although, I would change the recipe to use my already prepared DoTERRA Oregano Oil because I think it’s so powerful. Hey, that’s a pretty cool website for natural remedy recipes so look around while you are there.
