I originally formulated this for myself, as I often find my hands cut, dry, and damaged from digging in the dirt, making my crafts, and the occasional rock-climbing in the desert. But after friends and family gave me such rave reviews, I now create this stellar salve with you in mind!

I make this as a heavy salve, so it goes on like a thick butter and stays on as a barrier. We also have many people who use it in hot weather, so the extra beeswax keeps it a bit more stable in the heat.

KEY INGREDIENTS:
Herb Infused Olive Oil – All of the herbs listed in the ingredients are first infused into the olive oil. Olive oil is anti-inflammatory and healing in its own right, but the added power of whole herbs amps this balm up to Goddess status!
Jojoba Oil – Another desert wonder, this liquid wax is similar to the sebum of our skin, making it perfect for repairing and moisturizing!
Shea Butter – Creamy goodness that adds a protective layer which is nourishing and moisturizing because of its fatty acid content. It also aids in your skins natural collagen production!
Calendula – My favorite herb; I plant it all throughout the garden!! Calendula is anti-inflammatory & antibacterial. It’s a powerhouse herb known for its skin soothing and healing properties and yet it’s gentle enough to be used in baby formulas!
Lavender – Amazing for cuts and burns. Speeds healing and smells amazing!
Rosemary – Fights free radicals, stimulates cell renewal, improves circulation, and moisturizes. We are happy that rosemary grows so well in our garden!
Chaparral – Often called the “Medicine Chest of the Desert,” this plant is one of the oldest living inhabitants of our planet. Its use in healing spans many generations. It speeds the healing of bruises and blisters and is used to soothe rashes. We harvest the chaparral for our own yard.
TO USE:
Scrape or scoop a small amount of the balm from the tin. Apply a thin layer to dry skin, and work in well. As product melts with your body heat it absorbs quickly to add a protective layer to skin.
